On Friday, grain prices rose. The December SRW wheat contract closed at $5.36/bu ($197/mt), up 1.2% from Thursday. The December HRW wheat contract in Kansas increased to $5.40/bu ($198/mt), up 1.3%. The December Euronext wheat contract closed at €216.25/mt ($228/mt), up 2.6%. The December U.S. corn contract rose to $4.24/bu ($167/mt), up 1.2%.

In the night from Saturday to Sunday, Ukraine experienced a mass combined attack involving missiles and drones across all regions. In the Odesa region, energy infrastructure was damaged, leading to power outages.

From November 1 to 15, Ukraine exported 1.9 million mt of grain, compared to 1.7 million mt during the same period last year, according to data from the Ministry of Agrarian Policy. Since the start of the season, total grain exports reached 16.3 million mt, up from 11.0 million mt a year earlier.

US Wheat Futures Drop to September Low

Futures declined amid wet weather in the US and a strengthening dollar.
