On Wednesday, grain prices continued to fall. The December SRW wheat contract closed at $5.41/bu ($199/mt), down 2.0% from Tuesday. The December HRW wheat contract in Kansas fell to $5.41/bu ($199/mt), down 1.1%. The December Euronext wheat contract closed at €209.50/mt ($232/mt), down 2.2%. The December U.S. corn contract decreased to $4.26/bu ($168/mt), down 0.5%.

The USDA reported that exporters sold 401,000 mt of corn to Mexico and 291,000 mt to unknown destinations.

The Rosario Exchange lowered its forecast for Argentina’s wheat production by 0.7 million mt to 18.8 million mt due to earlier season drought conditions.

From November 1 to 13, Ukraine exported 1.5 mmt of grain, compared to 1.7 mmt a year ago, according to data from the Ministry of Agrarian Policy. Since the beginning of the season, total shipments have reached 15.9 mmt, up from 11.0 mmt in the previous season.
