On Monday, grain futures fell. March SRW wheat settled at $5.22/bu ($192/mt; -1.3% vs. Friday). March HRW wheat eased to $5.30/bu ($195/mt; -2.0%). March Euronext wheat settled at €189.00/mt ($225/mt; -1.0%). March U.S. corn slipped to $4.28/bu ($169/mt; -0.5%).

Egypt’s wheat production may set a new record on favorable winter weather, Mohamed Ali Fahim, head of the Climate Change Information Center, said.

In Russia’s Kursk region, part of the corn crop went under snow and harvesting will be postponed until spring, regional authorities said.
