On Monday, U.S. exchanges were closed for Martin Luther King Jr. Day. The March Euronext wheat contract closed at €191.25/mt ($223/mt; +0.3%).

Indian authorities approved exports of 500 tmt of wheat flour for the first time since an export ban was imposed in May 2022. The ban was revised amid a strong wheat crop in the country.

Algeria’s OAIC bought 600-720 tmt of wheat at $253-$254/mt C&F in an international tender. Traders said Argentina is expected to be the main supplier. In December, the agency bought 810-900 tmt of wheat at $256/mt C&F.
